Traveling is one of my top favorite hobbies! I love different cultures, seeing the beauty of
different geographical locations, architecture, food, and lifestyles. I have traveled extensively
for work and spent time in places like Iraq, India, the Philippines and Scotland. I have been in
the redlight district of Mumbai where I witnessed the most hopeless faces I have ever seen. I
have sat in refugee camps in Duhok, Iraq with the traumatized victims of an insurgency group. I
will forever be marked by the impact of the people of these countries.
In the past couple of years, I have been able to travel to some of the most beautiful places in
the world; from Puerto Rico, to Greece and Italy. It has been a dream to check off some of my
bucket list travel destinations- hopefully more to come in the future!
Traveling reminds my soul how vast this world is and how small I am in it. It refreshes me in a
unique way to be in foreign environments soaking up all the new experiences.
I plan to travel the rest of my life as much as I can. It is one of my passions.
I also take solo trips several times a year. This is essential for me to have that time alone with
God. It resets and recenters me.
I encourage anyone who has the ability to travel to make it a priority. There are seasons with
little ones, tight finances, dependent, aging parents, demanding jobs, etc., that can keep us
from traveling. But, I believe travel is something worth investing In when the time is right!
